Offset Current

Definition: current that comes form a switching card when no signals are applied.

Ohm

Definition: The unit of resistance.

Ohm's Law

Definitioned: A law developed by George Ohm which states that current is a direct result of voltage and inverse to the amount of resistance.

Ohmmeter

Definition: The instrument used to measure resistance.

Open Circuit

Definition: Any electrical path that does not allow current.

OR

Definition: Combining two signals so that the output is on if either signal is present.
