The MX-UK1 has the MX-H1-AV soldering iron - this is compatible with the STTC and SMTC tip series. There are several versions in each series. • STTC • 500 Series for temperature sensitive applications • 600 Series for temperature sensitive applications • 700 Series for most standard applications • 800 Series for ceramic and high thermal demand applications • SMTC • 500 Series for temperature sensitive applications • 600 Series for temperature sensitive applications • 700 Series for most standard applications • 800 Series for ceramic and high thermal demand applications

How are the numbered tip series different from each other?
