I have had the 1054B for several months and am very satisfied with it. It works exactly as advertised and is an excellent value. I bought it because it has four separate control knobs and a bit more free screen area than the competition. My major negative comment about this instrument is the same one as with every one of its probable 400 competitors. The user interface is so MS DOS 3.1. To do anything requires a dozen key presses and locating and memorizing what each of all the tiny buttons do. This thing has an USB port. Perhaps some oscilloscope manufacturer will write an app so that a mouse can be used to move the cursors and select the parameters. A drawback is that only eight measurements can be displayed at a time. If four channels are being used, one will be clicking the parameter buttons a lot if multiple measurements are needed. The downloadable apps are pretty weak. Four anyone desiring a four channel scope, this one is highly recommended.
