This was my first wire tracker purchased. After reading many spec sheets and performance claims I decided to try this unit. Without any practice learning how to use the unit, my neighbor was having a drainage ditch dug. We realized that an underground phone line was near the trench and we wanted to mark it. I used the inductive loop clamp on the line at the house entrance. Following the basic directions we traced the line and hand dug two areas to see how accurate this showed the pathway. It was dead on for path and within one inch in depth to what we figured. This was 75 feet from the clamp and it was easy to ID the path. We were very impressed. I am looking forward to using it again as I trace underground feeders to a well and a swimming pool pump on my property.
