Excellent Power Supply CPX400DP
Just received this power supply about 2 days ago so no time to truly test all the functions out. Tested the Amps and they are spot on. Tested the voltage at 10.00 volts and on the Master side and got 9.9986 volts, but if you hit the View its spot on at 9.99 volts out. Test the second power supply and it came out to 10.0001 volts and the View read 10.00 so no complaints. It could just be me on the fine august and got lucky on the second side but no matter. This thing is very accurate and no complaints on the build quality, packaging was basic but more then enough to protect the power supply from damage. Display is bright and easy to read even from a distance, control buttons are spaced out so no chance of the accidentally hitting the wrong function. The best part about this power supply is the ease of use. Everything is labeled and easy to understand, you only have to dig into the manual for the more advanced capabilities of this unit, but for general use its just power on, set the voltage and current, hit Output and your cooking. Plus this is smaller then I thought is was, here are the measurements if your interested. L 14 3/4', W 8 1/4', H 5' H with feet 5 1/2'. So in short, its well worth the hefty price and I can see this lasting long then me.

very capable, accurate supply
It took me a few minutes to figure out some of the features so DO read the manual, but it works exactly as it is supposed to. It does lack internal serial/parallel connections but it does accommodate external wiring and the voltage tracking works well. I haven't really used any of the advanced features like remote controlling or remote sense but I did test the flex power and it does indeed operate in all the intended ranges. 40A into 1/2 ohm load, that's pretty serious! Have to get the appropriate power leads for that to work though. Charges car batteries quickly :)
