The Simpson 50123, model 5005BT of the 5002/5006 series, is a rugged handheld digital TRMS multimeter with Bluetooth featuring a high-resolution display, a large range count, and is equipped with more than thirty different measurement functions. Simpson Electric’s 5002/5006 series digital portable multimeters are designed for professionals and offer safe, reliable use. The 50123 (5005BT) is an ideal tool for test automation. 

With class 2 Bluetooth integrated into the meter, it can achieve transmission ranges of up to 10m. Meter setup parameters can be configured through the android application. Measured parameters can be logged in excel format on the mobile device’s default memory. Function, range, and relative key operation are possible through the application, as well as graphical analysis of the measured parameters. A virtual display of the meter can be viewed on a mobile device and offline data of the meter can be retrieved. 

The Go – NoGo function indicates a buzzer for the applied input lying inside or outside the set band. The values for low limit, high limit, and buzzer conditions can be easily set through the NoGo function in menu settings. Once the NoGo function is set, the user can get busy doing other activities in the vicinity of the meter, and whenever the condition is met it will be indicated by a buzzer. It eliminates the need for the operator to continuously monitor the display. 

View Function

Data logged on the meter can be viewed directly on the meter itself, making data analysis possible without PC based software. However, for graphical and large data analysis, PC based software can be used. To communicate with a PC, the meter will require an interface adapter (sold separately).
