Accurate and high quality Simpson VOM

The 270-5 is very accurate. I tested it using calibrated power supplies and accurate precision resistors and it meets the published specs. The instrument case is well constructed, fits together precisely, and internal electronics are high quality using name brand resistors and components. The instrument is manufactured in the USA. The meter scales are easy to read and the parallax mirror makes it easy to line up the meter's needle for accurate scale readings. The one negative mark I have is the "zero ohms" adjust knob shaft has a fair amount of wiggle side to side. It is due to the long shaft length internally. Nothing is broken or defective but it would be nice if the knob didn't wiggle as much, would have a better feel to it. Included instruction manual covers all the functions in an easy to follow format. Test leads/probes are included and are made by ProbeMaster, a trusted name for quality test probes.
