I finally got a Spectrum Analyzer! I've been wanting one for years. I diligently compared the various analyzers with tracking generators which were affordable for a hobbyist's budget and selected the Siglent3015X Plus 1.5 GHz Spectrum Analyzer with Tracking Generator and Preamplifier. The Plus provides a touch screen which I find delightful to use. As it is my first spectrum analyzer, I wanted a new one with a good warranty. So far I feel it is doing everything I expected it to do for my amateur radio needs and I look forward to many years of service.
