No regrets whatsoever, I would absolutely buy it again if I could do it all over. Along with the functional bundle from Rigol, at no extra cost, and the MSO5000 user community boards explaining how to boost scope capabilities above specs, I definitely recommend the lower end of the MSO5000 series to anyone looking to buy a scope in the class/range. If one considers purchasing the same series scope but with all options enabled, then comparing the total price and functionality against some couple other similar competetive offerings, I would have to say the choice is not as clear-cut. But at the lower end, this is definitely the best of class scope to buy at this point in time. Heck, this is a 4-channel 8Gsps scope for under a grand! The only thing more I could wish for is the same but with 10 or 12 bit sampling. But hey, let's save some of the technology/cost miracles for another year...
