You can watch deep dives or scour the manual to see if this will do what you want--you should be aware of it's features if you're considering buying it. It's not an amazingly featured scope, but it is quite capable for the price point. The screen is bright and the functions are logically laid out.
The only real negative is that the "push" function of the rotary knobs doesn't line up with the tactile response. That is, you can press the button and "feel" it click, but the unit does not recognize the press. You must press just a little firmer or a little "beyond" the click.
My other gripes are ancillary. It comes with a 90-degree power cable, but that bend is the wrong direction, directing the cable out the side of the unit instead of out the back. Given that the power jack is inset, a straight cable would be the best option.
Secondly, no manual is provided. There is built-in help, and a manual can be downloaded online, but when I spend this amount of money, I do expect a printed manual.

It is easy to use, and work well.
Pro: Price is great for a four channel scope. The decoder for UART,SPI,I2C works well. Better than a $3,000 scope I used to use. Fan is not too noisy. I had another manufacture's scope with a very noisy fan, this one is okay (I leave the scope on all day). Screen is big enough to see all 4 channels clearly (could be bigger, but once again this is a $500 scope)
Con: Could use more bandwidth, but understand this is a $500 four channel scope. The knobs are touchy, you need to press them just right, or the knob turns to the next selection while pressing and you get the wrong choice. This is a known issue and all the inexpensive scopes have this problem. I try to turn the knob slightly clockwise as I press it.

* UART decode works well
* Each channel not having it's own knobs - I don't miss at all.
* Selector knob to select some menu items is a little sensitive so sometimes you change the setting when you press to select. (See Dave's YouTube channel review. I agree.)
* It has helped me find gain understanding and troubleshoot several problems with my existing project already. (I've had it for a couple of months.)
* If I were to change anything it would be the wasted real-estate (at least to me) on the left side of the screen with all the measurement options.
* So for what it's worth from an Arduino and junior electronics hobbyist - I really like this thing.

This scope is good value but has so many features that it takes time to learn how to use them. I have found 2 short comings: 1) The "multi-function Knob" which is used to select menu items has very soft detents--so you select an item and then push the button, inevitably the selection moves and you get the wrong selection. This can happen several times in a row wasting lots of time. If not for the warren-tee I would open the case and put a push button in parallel.
2) The waveform record function has no way to export the recording and the recording is lost when powered down.

I bought this oscilloscope for my home hobby projects and it is more than I could ask for. Having been in both the electrical engineering and electrical technician fields for fifteen years now, I have worked with many high-end pieces of equipment, and I was very impressed with the features and quality of this device when the price was considered. Full featured, easy to use, and well constructed, I would recommend this for beginner to intermediate users, or for professional applications where a more expensive system would be overkill. If you are a beginner, this has enough features that you will not need to upgrade for quite some time. Definitely a great deal. The Rigol 1054Z is also a great choice if you are looking for a less expensive option.
