The ST 25 soldering system from PACE improves quality, reduce costs and eliminate the maintenance and calibration hassles associated with other soldering systems. The ST 25 maximizes heat delivery at low, safe temperatures and eliminates the need for calibration. Heavy-duty metal housing makes the system the ideal choice for the harshest production environments. The ST 25 system comes with the PS-90 Soldering Iron.
The ST 25 is equipped with the venerable PS-90 Universal Soldering Iron, used on such legendary PACE systems as the MBT 250 and PRC 2000. The PS-90 is excellent for general purpose and heavy-duty soldering and SMT rework operations where high thermal capacity and flexibility are required. The PS-90 Soldering Iron provide a wide range of SMD and Thru-Hole installation and removal capability as well as unsurpassed thermal performance on heavy, multilayer Thru-Hole assemblies at safe, lower working temperatures.

I want to get additional handpieces for the ST 25 station. What is compatible?

There are other tools that will work with the ST 25, however, you will need to get the SensaTemp versions. These can be viewed through the links below: •6993-0207 = TT-65 tweezer •6993-0199 = PS-90 iron
I see there are two versions of the ST 25. How are they different?
The Pace ST 25 is available with and without additional handpieces. Please see below for part numbers and descriptions: •8007-0528 = ST 25, with PS-90 soldering iron •8007-0529 = ST 25, power source only

I am not saying I would recommend this unit or not reccomend it but I am not totally impressed with it. The holder/stand does not fit the iron the holder is too big and the iron flips out of the holder. The tips are very expensive and they do not have a good selection. It solders well but is nothing over the weller I had. Also the weller has a much more comfortable iron that is smaller and MUCH easier to get in tight places.
