I have a 1995-vintage PPS75A (so an MBT101A). Using an inexpensive automotive vacuum/pressure gage, the vacuum pump was pulling around 16 in Hg. It now pulls about 19-20 in Hg after installing the rebuild kit (which is the Pace spec). And the handpiece works very well in use. I don't have something like a ThermoJet so I can't comment on how well the pressure side works. The rebuild kit was well worth the cost.
