Good balance between tip size and thermal mass

The ultra performance tips with higher thermal mass are good for working on larger pads like TO-263s. The smaller tip means that I can work on boards that have such pads and also on finer scale parts without swapping tips as often.

Like the other 1130 and 1131 series Pace tips, it works perfectly with the ADS200's AccuDrive system to maintain temperature without calibration. Not much to say about this one .. typical 30 degree chisel tip works great and the price can't be beat.

The tip works well, but I think if I purchase it again I would get the non-ultra tip. For a tip this fine, the extra thermal mass is not as important as being able to get into tight areas.
