great magnifier, I wish the light switch was better

The arm and swivel joints are great. The glass is great (best magnifying lens I've had) and the light ring is wonderfully compact, just the right color temp and brightness. I love how well this thing works, and the smaller size. BUT.... the little button to turn the light on.... you must cycle through bright/dim/off every time. And if you leave it on, and disconnect the power, it won't come back on. I'd like to use this on a switched outlet, but that's not gonna happen. For me this is the only shortfall of the product
