Works Well So Far
4.0
This unit has a higher price point than the competing Keysight 34470A, which is in short supply at the moment. On paper, the K2010 has better specs than the 34470A. Don't know if it actually performs better though. All the available functions tested out good so far. Being an old model (circa 2010), it only has GPIB & RS232 interfaces, no USB. Getting a GPIB to USB adapter could be $$$$, anywhere from ~$100 to $1,600!!! And there is no guarantee it would work without problems. I opted for a USB-RS232 adapter for ~$30 as I have no need for high-speed acquisition. So far the unit works perfectly with LabView at 9600 bauds. One nitpick point is the swivel handle appears to be just thin plastic and feels flimsy. Not sure how much abuse it can take. Is it a recent cost-cutting change or was it like that when it was first introduced?
