Instek GDS2204-A
5.0
Considered this scope against the Agilent DSOX2024A and Rigol DS4024. Did a thorough review of specs and decided on trying out the Instek. I am very pleased with the Instek, it performs very well, and the free plugins make it a great deal, at ~$1000 less than the other two. Large display, deep memory (although the Rigol is incredibly deep, that was the ONLY real difference for me between the Instek and I didn't feel I needed the extra memory enough to pay another $1000). Great display update rate. Overall I am very happy with the Instek, I would recommend it to anyone.

Nice scope, but....
2.0
I did an initial video review at:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbNKVD-ZoIYI ended up returning the device because the translation had errors in the specs which affected my purchasing decision. It's a decent scope for the price range, but you can do a lot better now with the new Rigol's or even a used Agilent.
