Great meter for a HS physics lab

We bought 10 of these to outfit one of our physics labs at our high school. Simple, inexpensive, and reasonably well built. Only downsides are that the thermocouple and semiconductor measurements require a bridge device (which is included, but something that will invariably get lost) and access to the fuses requires you to remove the back of the meter rather than being inside the battery compartment. Came with a respectable set of detachable probes. They look like they will handle our basic needs admirably and stand up to a few years punishment. If your is for a basic multimeter, at the price of this unit, it is really hard to go wrong.
