Fluke ii900 vs FLIR Si124 Cordless

The Fluke ii900 industrial acoustic imager visually display leaks in compressed air, gas, and vacuum systems while the FLIR Si124 industrial acoustic imager visually displays pressurized leaks in compressed air systems as well as displaying partial discharge in high-voltage electrical systems. The FLIR Si124 allows you to see partial discharge and corona discharge. The Fluke ii900 features 64 digital MEMS microphones while the Flir Si124 Cordless features 124 low-noise MEMS microphones.

Frequency band:

The Fluke ii900 features a frequency band of 2 kHz to 52 kHz while the FLIR Si124 Cordless features a bandwidth of 2 kHz to 65 kHz.

Detection Range:

The Fluke ii900 has a detection range of 0.5 m to >70 m (1.6 to >230 ft) while the FLIR Si124 Cordless features a detection range of 0.3 m up to 130m (1 ft to 430 ft)

Displays:

The Fluke ii900 has a 7” LCD touchscreen display with backlight, is sunlight readable, and has a resolution of 1280 x 800. The FLIR Si124 Cordless has a 5” touchscreen display with an 800 x 480 resolution.

Storage and Interfaces:

The Fluke ii900 features 20 GB internal storage and features USB-C connection for exporting images and video. The FLIR Si124 has built-in Wi-Fi communication for direct cloud communication but also features 32 GB internal storage and features USB connection for data transfer while also allowing for a USB memory stick for additional external storage (up to 8GB).

Software and tools:

The Fluke ii900 features the LeakQ reporting tool that allows you to create organized and detailed reports and analyze and share leak size and leak cost estimations. The Flir Si124 Cordless features offline and online analysis and reporting with the FLIR Thermal Studio for desktop (offline) and the FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer (online) which allow you to automatically upload, store, and back up images and data to the cloud and conduct analysis., calculate estimated energy expenses cause by the leak, determine leak severity and recommended actions.
