Good value
3.0
This meter serves the function I purchased it for, which is an inexpensive tester that I can keep in my truck for unexpected "help" calls. It gets the job done, an can get beat up and bounced around with no problem. This is not a super accurate ultra precise instrument, but it will provide you with all of the field troubleshooting info in a variety of applications. Good value for the price.

Worked for a hobbyist
I have been relatively happy with this meter over the last several years as a hobbyist. Measurements are rather slow; continuity beeper is fast; diode tester may not light a blue or green LED. Included batteries lasted for years with occasional use. The tilt stand is not strong enough, and broke early on. Overall for me this was a reliable upgrade from a very cheap analog meter.

Unsuitable for Instruction device. Amperage readings were all over the place, some not within 10% when verified with Fluke. This product is a get what you paid for situation.
