The kit may be a good learning experience but if you are buying it to save money on buying the assembled one, don't. It's about a 2-3 day project. Your time will be better spent somewhere else. Also, the fact that it has to be mounted in the case, i.e., not bottom case makes it cumbersome for the lab setting. If you're going to travel with it, it may be fine, but not for the classroom setting. Too bulky.
