I needed to measure some waveforms at a voltage higher than my scope could handle directly. The Voltage vs Frequency derating curve is pretty steep above 1MHz and levels off at 250V at 100MHz, but since I am measuring frequencies under 30MHZ and only relative amplitudes, it will be adequate for me. It also has a VCR accuracy of /- 6%. If you are working with higher frequencies at higher voltages, another probe might be better. I do wish I had known the derating curve ahead of time, I think I would have looked for a different probe.
