The bench top meter is a nice stable accurate meter with a lot of feature, I use it for testing my home projects, when I'm building and testing my transistor amplifiers, designing and biasing my amplifier for the right voltage measurements, testing my L.E.D's, diodes, transistors, I'm thinking about getting the 5493C, or the new Keysight bench top meter, learning how to use the unit is straight forward, the manual is very easy to read.
