Great and reliable power supply.

We have 28 of these in a teaching lab at the University of Pittsburgh. The lab is heavily used with hundreds of students passing through each year with weekly labs. The supplies are first of all completely reliable. In many years we have not had a problem with any of them. They are not cheap, but it's worth the price. The layout of the controls is also very easy for the students to learn, with the constant voltage and constant current modes quite good for both practical and educational purposes. The large central 5V supply flanked by 2 variable 0-30V supplies that can either be or - is very flexible. I recommend the little "Shorting Link" made by Pomona (4115) to short either the or - to ground on the variable supplies. See Digikey part number 501-1505-ND. It's very clever in that it attaches in a way that you can easily switch it from to - without it falling off.
