The TBMA1 is a small, lightweight, wideband biconical measurement antenna. With its moderate price, it is ideal for radiated noise EMC pre-compliance testing and for generating defined field strength. It is characterized from 30 MHz to 1 GHz and has a directional pattern similar to a dipole. The TBMA1 comes in a solid beech wood case, together with a "pistol-grip" tripod. A standard ¼" thread makes it easy to connect it to most standard tripods. The elements are corrosion resistant and constructively locked against rotation. They are fed via a wideband balun with 2 W power handling capability. Furthermore they are protected against build-up of static charge.

The TekBox TBMA1 30MHz 1000 MHz Biconical Measurement Antenna was a product I was looking for. We have a large anechoic chamber where we use a proper Biconical Antenna, but it is not always available. I have been using this Antenna in our 3-meter chamber and the results have been reasonable. I am using it as a pre-test, and it has been working very well. The packaging was really nice for storage when not being used.

Fantastic antenna for a great price
This is very well built antenna for EMC compliance testing. It comes well packaged with all documentation. It covers the whole EMC band so you can do the whole testing without swapping antennas.
