Bought a set of four RT-ZP03S probes mid April 2024. The image, description and specs were shown as 1X/10X switchable attenuation probes on the TEquipment website. Upon arrival I found these are actually 10X only attenuation, all three waveform adjustments are now made from the small enclosure on the BNC connector. They work, but I wanted the switchable attenuation. Originally I contacted Rhode and Schwarz, had an issue with all four probes. According to their own website, probes and other parts can be purchased directly from the company. Out of warranty I expected no freebies. Support told me, as an individual, not a company or part of a company, they couldn't help me. My only option for new OEM probes was TEquipment. Part of the reason I chose Rhode and Schwarz and the higher cost, was the claim of superior support. This whole situation has become a continuing trend with companies and suppliers. Maybe a heads-up to an individual buyer considering Rhode and Schwarz equipment. Nonetheless, my last Rhode and Schwarz purchase.
