The Klein Tools 501-915 is a portable Time Domain Reflectometer (TDR) cable length tester. It measures cable length, calibrates Velocity of Propagation (VoP) values, finds the distance to faults in cables, and provides built-in tone generation for cable tracing (requires tracing probe VDV500-123 - sold separately). The 501-915 measures most types of copper cable including data, voice, video, electrical, and speaker wire up to 3,000 feet.
