Macrobending is the attenuation associated with bending of optical fiber that causes light to “leak out“ of the fiber. The light leakage is detected by the fiber identifier in direction and intensity. The fiber cable is not damaged and signal communication is not interrupted.
Optical Fiber Identifier can detect optical signals in the tone signal at a fixed frequency of 270Hz, 1KHz and 2KHz.
The output power of Optical Fiber Identifier is 10 mW.
When battery power is insufficient, the low battery LED will remind users to change batteries.
