The combination meter is rugged: 2 meter drop-tested and IP-54-rated. It includes a digital insulation resistance tester (or megohmmeter) with 5 different test voltages (50V, 100V, 250V, 500V, 1000V) for measuring resistance (or 'megging') from 4MΩ to 20 GΩ with a resolution as low as 0.001MΩ and accuracy down to ±1.5%. To make at-a-glance go or no-go testing easier, a 2-color LED indicator with Compare Mode makes pass/fail determinations easy to perform and easy to notice with a green/red Pass/Fail LED indicator on the face of the meter. The IM75 features several test modes not typically found in compact, handheld insulation testers including: Polarization Index, Dielectric Absorption and Earth Bond Resistance.
