This pen-shaped multimeter can be used to carry out AC voltage, DC voltage and resistance measurements by use of its integrated probe tip. Tiny and lightweight, the DM73C portable nature makes it perfect for a wide variety of testing applications and it includes an LCD screen built into the side of the device which relays test results. You'd expect a multimeter like this to skimp on the features a bit but the Amprobe DM73C doesn't - it can measure AC voltage with ranges of 3400, 34, 340 and 600V (same for DC voltage) and resistance from 340, 3.4k, 34k, 3.4m and 34MΩ. Take one-handed measurements with this pen-style digital multimeter and its built-in probe.
The DM73C is a probe-type digital multimeter capable of measuring DC and AC voltage, resistance, diode and continuity. Its controls are: Volts (V), Ohms ( Ω ), Diode Test and Continuity Beeper ( ), On- Off, AC/ DC and Hold.

Amprobe DM73C compact DMM

I carry a toolbag with me to jobs, including test leads, clamp-on AC/DC multimeters, and other bulky tools. My tool box goes with me first, doesn't have a lot of room. For years I've carried a small DMM, a little smaller than a bananna, but it finally fell apart. I discovered Amprobe's DM73C, slightly larger than my previous meter but it appears to be built more robust. The LCD display is fairly large, doesn't need reading glasses. It also comes with a common lead with an interchangeable probe or alligator clip. It also comes with a small pointed probe tip for measurements, plus a spare, plus a long skinny probe that can get into tight places. It doesn't measure current, but that's not what I got it for. It measures AC/DC volts and ohms, plus it has a bar graph display which helps when a measurement is constantly changing. I highly recommend this instrument from a known company and at a good price. - Jim
