Classic that works well
5.0
This particular tip is my primary go-to tip for circuit board soldering. It's small enough to handle reasonably small trace widths, with enough thermal mass to heat the joint quickly but without damaging solder mask or peeling traces from the board. The tip wets well and, in my experience, these last quite a while. There are many newer technology soldering systems to choose from, but the classic PT system is still tough to beat. I use these with an ancient WTCP station with great results. Fast heat up, compact station, and low cost.Recommended.
