Excellent instrument. Reads low velocity when testing fume hoods.

The essential HVAC air-side tool
I've used 3 of these around the world for 5 years and while its price is higher than several items that would be required to replace it, the value of all that together in as easy to use and flexible package as this is, is well worth it. One improvement I can think of is a 4-20 mA or similar input; with that you could simultaneously log the flow, power (via extrenal transducer), pressure and temperatures of a fan; that would handle blowers up to the 15 inWC this can handle. A higher-pressure model might also be nice if they didn't lose low-pressure accuracy.
