Good probe for the price.
5.0
It's a nice probe for the price, but the the accuracy seems a bit off. A less than a year old Rigol DM3058E shows current draw of 47mA through the test circuit. My PICO TA189, according to the same meter, is putting out 005.65mV which converted is 56.5mA. According to the manual the accuracy is /- 1% of reading / 2mA. Worse case scenario I'd expect 49.47mA. At 2A it's on spec. Same DM3058E shows current draw of 2.00258A and the TA189 is putting out 201.49mV which converted is 2.01A. Worse case scenario I'd expect 2.02461A.
