Features
- Load the EPROMs on the conductive foam tray.
- Close the lid tightly.
- Set the timer to the desired exposure time.
- You can leave the timer in the “ON” position
so that eraser remains ON for the extent
of the time that it is plugged into the electrical outlet.
- Otherwise, you can set the timer.
- The front indicator, [two blue light],
at the “left side” of eraser will be on then eraser is on.
- If the front indicator does not light blue,
make sure that the unit is plugged
into an electrical outlet and that the lid is properly closed.
- Exposure time should be 2-10 minutes.
- EPROM manufactures provide “nominal erasing energies” to their devices;
the amount of UV energy required to erase a chip’s memory.
- Erasing time can be calculated by:
- You may open the tray ways: vertically and horizontally.
- To open it vertically, you must unscrew the top knob at the “leftside”,
near the indicator, of the eraser first.
- This will also allow you must be unscrewed and shut
