Electrical leaks and damage caused by electric charge are completely eliminated due to direct current operation and the use of isolated ceramic tips.The irons power rating is 25 watts and reaches a tip temperature of 900° F in less than 10 seconds. Consumer replaceable Ni-cd batteries are included.
