The Ex 171-0 data logger is used to measure and store temperature and humidity levels in explosive areas. The extremely rugged metal casing ensures consistently high measuring accuracy over a wide temperature and humidity range under extremely harsh industrial conditions.

With its precise measuring and documentation capabilities the Ex 171-0 data logger has wide-ranging applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. When storing sensitive products, for example, any damage caused by incorrect or inappropriate storage can be detected easily and in a straightforward manner (manipulation excluded).

The temperature and humidity parameters are particularly decisive for the pharmaceutical industry during production, as they effect the quality of the product. The data is fully analysed and integrated into other programmes via menu-controlled software based on the Windows operating system. Once outside the explosive area the straightforward interface can be simply docked to a PC to transfer the data.
