  Description

The FS300 from Rohde & Schwarz is a highly accurate spectrum analyzer with a frequency range of 9 kHz to 3 GHz. Due to its modern, digital frequency processing technology it offers high measurement quality, high dynamic range and low noise floor at a favorable price. The instrument is designed for general purpose RF analysis, and suitable for a multitude of applications in laboratory, service and production.

The FS300 is part of the Smart Instruments family, representing a new class of affordable high-quality measuring instruments. This series of instruments is notable for its highly compact and robust design.

Ergonomic User Interface
Operation is menu-guided so that even untrained users will quickly obtain correct measurement results. Clear structures simplify navigation within the menus. Users familiar with spectrum analyzers from Rohde & Schwarz will quickly find the menu items they know from other Rohde & Schwarz instruments. The bright TFT color display with 320*240 pixel resolution allows traces to be read even at odd angles or when the incidence of light is unfavorable.

PC Software
A software package, FS300-K1, is available for powerful remote control of the instrument via USB interface. The software allows configuration, operation and display of measurement results on a PC. Measurement traces can be stored, compared with previous measurements, and exported in txt-format for further analysis.
