Why Hi-leverage?

These pliers are designed with the joint rivet placed closer to the nose of the pliers. A significantly lower hand force is required to achieve the same gripping force as with standard pliers (see L1 and L2). It's simply a more efficient lever! The overall benefits are reduced hand fatigue and a lower potential for slipping injuries.
