The laser OWL 1310/1550HP (High Powered) is a rugged, compact handheld Laser lightsource that is high in features while remaining low in price.The temperature compensated outputs are calibrated to couple 0dBm of optical power into an 9 micron single mode fiber. This light source is offered with both 1310nm and 1550nm lasers installed.

The source has a an intuitive 2-button interface that is simple to operate, with one button controlling power and the other for selecting output wavelength. LED indicators highlight the selected source and verify that battery power is sufficient to maintain the calibrated output power.
