Features:
- Newly developed "spectral fitting" method measures pure color with peak accuracy - comparable to measurements made by many spectroradiometers.
- Three measuring angles: 1°, 0.2°, 0.1° can be selected to measure large and very small areas. (2° can be provided as custom service)
- Luminance as low as 0.01 cd/m² and as high as 20,000.000 cd/m2
- Measurement time from 0.5 seconds.
- Aperture mirror eliminates misalignments between finder target and actual measuring spots
- Measurements can be synchronized with display device by numerical input of the frequency.
- Hand-held, compact, light weight (less than 4 lbs)
- AC Adapter as well as battery-operated
- Built-in USB interface allows data sharing with any other device that is USB ready.
- The CS-200 has BOTH a 2° and 10° standard observer; the 10° is found in spectroradiometers, not chroma meters
Applications:
- 1º aperture for Large and Medium Size light sources: LCD, PDP, or EL display panel, Light source like lamp or backlight, Instrument panel or aircraft, Outdoor display screens
- 0.2º aperture for Small size light sources: LED parts in electronic appliance, Instrument panel for automobile
- 0.1º aperture for Very Small or Distant light sources: Pixel of PDP or LCD, Brake lamp of automobile, Signal lights

Description
The Konica Minolta Chroma Meter CS-200, which uses 40 sensors to perform calculations using spectral characteristics corresponding to the sensitivity of the human eye, can measure sources as diverse as large plasma displays, compact LCDs, outdoor screens and instrument panels.
“The rapid growth of the information technology industry, including digital imaging and broadcasting, has prompted the development of more advanced light-emitting devices. There is a greater need for high-performance, cost-effective meters to keep up with the new technologies,” says Tom Kwon, Business Unit Manager for CS-200. “This is especially true with the increased interest in ISO and other quality assurance standards in industry today. That’s where the advanced capabilities and ergonomic design of Konica Minolta’s Chroma Meter CS-200 comes in.”
The CS-200 maintains Konica Minolta’s commitment to user-friendly operation and competitive pricing while at the same time utilizing the most advanced technological breakthroughs for measuring luminance and chromaticity.
