Features:
- The CM-3600d is equipped with Konica Minolta's Enhanced Performance
Technology. For users, this means high accuracy and repeatability,
improved performance, simple operation, and additional features
all at an affordable price.
- Numerical Gloss Control- Instead of using
a mechanically driven gloss trap, the CM-3600d is equipped with
a patented numerical gloss (SCI/SCE) control system. By sequentially
firing two flashes, within a few seconds the system provides
both SCI & SCE values for each sample.
- Numerical UV Control-To replace the time-consuming
traditional UV measurement system that utilizes moving filters,
the CM-3600d introduces yet another patented numerical calculation
system. The measured values of two sequentially fired flashes,
one with full UV energy and one with UV cut-off filter at either
400 or 420nm are combined to obtain the spectral characteristics,
and the respective whiteness and tint value of any UV-activated
fluorescence sample. To avoid triplet effect on FWA treated
samples, the CM-3600d can be set to Soft-Flash mode. Numerical
UV control technology makes faster, more effective and reliable
measurements of FWA treated materials such as textiles, papers
and detergents.

Description
| The Konica Minolta CM-3600d benchtop spectrophotometer
for reflectance and transmittance color measurement features patented
technical advancements which were developed using proprietary research,
development and manufacturing techniques that maximize user value
and features while reducing product costs. Two unique, patented
features distinguish the CM-3600d from most other benchtop instruments
currently available. First, it performs faster and more accurate
measurements of samples with gloss differences. Second, the CM-3600d
instrument offers instantaneous numerical ultraviolet (UV) adjustment
for samples which contain a UV absorbing light component, such as
fluorescing dyes, pigments and optical brighteners. The CM-3600d
is the first instrument to provide full spectral data measurements
simultaneously for SCI and SCE. It achieves this through microprocessor-controlled,
sequential flashing of multiple pulsed xenon light sources in place
of the single source typical of other instruments. The advantage
this offers is accuracy and speed through the elimination of both
multiple measurements and the time required to change instrument
set up. By acquiring SCI and SCE data simultaneously, the user can
discriminate both color and appearance differences almost immediately. |
