  Description

The Magni SDM-560M Serial Digital/Composite Video Monitor adds automated measurement, remote control, remote reporting, and audio phase meter displays to the SDM-560 patented rasterizer monitoring platform.

The SDM-560M's revolutionary display technology provides picture, waveform, vector, audio, and digital measurements for Serial Digital 601 and Composite analog signals on a single screen. Designed as a "true" digital monitoring system, it provides on-screen readings of digital signal strength, jitter, and EDH errors. The SDM-560M also provides three choices for audio monitoring: SDI embedded audio, separate AES-3, or analog audio input. All four audio channels are displayed on the screen.

The SDM-560M series provide both SDI (525/625) and Composite (NTSC/PAL) display outputs, allowing waveforms and measurement results to be routed through SDI and Composite networks and be viewed on picture monitors.

The Automated Measurement feature provides numeric readouts of key signal parameters and can be used to generate on screen alarms, ground closure, and ASCII text reports. The SDM-560M provides an effective solution for remote monitoring of Serial Digital / Composite signals and automated signal quality control at local installations.
