The LF 982 combines in a single portable package the means to measure signal levels for VHF/UHF/FM broadcast, CATV, satellite analog as well as digital (8VSB, 0FDM and QAM 16, 32, 64, 256 and QPSK, 8PSK, BPSK). Features include storage of 200 measurement setups and 200 sets of data. Data can be downloaded to a standard flash memory card and then transferred to a laptop computer. A built-in speaker and line output allows audio monitoring and a video-out jack provides drive to a picture monitor. Reception conditions are further verified with a basic spectrum display. For satellite reception, a C/N measurement is provided. Power is from a built-in rechargeable battery pack and the power-off feature conserves operating time. The battery charger is supplied. |
