  Description

DB-3460 measures the jitter of all T components (3T through 11T and 14T) in RF signal(8/16 modulation signal)‚ and indicates the Sigma value. It is possible to measure not only the binarized signal after slicing but also RF signal before slicing and the picking up output signal directly. Measures the jitter of standard speed and double speed with internal clock signal by input only the RF signal. Measurement the jitter of two input of the RF signal and the CLOCK signal is also possible with external CLOCK input terminal. Indicates the GO/NG judgement with LED. All functions necessary for measuring DVD jitter are provided as standard‚ and it is possible to apply from the pick-up to the player production.

Equalizer circuit is provided as standard
It is possible to measure the jitter directly from the pick-up output signal.

Asymmetry correction circuit is provided as standard
It is possible to measure the jitter of RF signal at standard speed and double speed before slicing.

Phase monitor
The phase difference and the jitter distribution of RF and CLOCK signal can be displayed by 9×4 matrix LED.

High response meter
It is possible to measure the jitter instantaneously with the high response meter.

Displayed the ratio (%) and the time (ns)
The measurement value of jitter is displayed the ratio (%) to 1 cycle of the clock. When the clock frequency is 27MHz, the time (ns) is displayed too.

CLOCK input terminal
Measurement the jitter of two input of the RF signal and the CLOCK signal is also possible with external CLOCK input terminal. The phase of the CLOCK signal with the RF signal is corrected automatic.

GO/NG judgement
Indicates the GO/NG judgement with LED on the front panel.

INHIBIT input terminal
Stop control of jitter measurement is available by INHIBIT input terminal.

Various output terminals for monitor
JITTER output, SLICE output, RECODER output, EQUALIZED RF output RF MONITOR output, DELAYED CLOCK output, CLOCK MONITOR output

REMOTE CONTROL terminal
The function of front panel can be set with the REMOTE CONTROL terminal.

GP-IB interface
The GP-IB interface is provided to transfer the measured data and set the function.

KEY LOCK switch.
The mis-operation can be prevented with the KEY LOCK switch.
