 Kenwood DA-3531

Features:
  • MTF filter
An equivalent signal to the pickup output from a CD player can be generated by simulating the propagation characteristics.
  • Pickup simulator output
The pickup simulator output is provided taking the actual applications such as CD player testing in consideration. This output features the symmetr y variation capability, can be connected directly to a CD player as a laser pickup output and can simulate a variety of laser pickup output signal patterns.
  • Selection of patterns and codes according to applications
For convenient use in a variety of testing and measurement, nine test patterns, 16 subcodes and eight error patterns can be selected as desired.
  • High accuracy, low distortion
The nine test pattern signals are high-accuracy, (16-bit) lowdistortion signals which can be used in testing of D/A converters and low-pass filters.

  Description

The DC-3531 CD encoder is a standard signal generator for use in the evaluation and testing of CD players in compliance with the CD standard. It features high reliability and high performance by implementing greatly simplified, optimized circuitry for a CD encoder.
