Description
The new RAMCHECK DDR ONLY memory tester is the most cost-effective solution for testing DDR modules. It's perfect for small companies or organizations with limited budgets. RAMCHECK DDR ONLY is a good solution for existing SIMCHECK II customers who don't wish to convert their existing tester to the RAMCHECK level, or simply want to have a dedicated DDR tester. It's also a great solution for manufacturers that need small, standalone testers.
The RAMCHECK DDR ONLY memory tester provides affordable DDR memory testing for PC3200*/PC2700/2100/1600 (also known as DDR400*/333/266/200) modules, including Registered and Unbuffered DIMMs, complying with current JEDEC standards. RAMCHECK DDR ONLY is a combination of a modified RAMCHECK base tester and the new DDR 184-Pin Adapter. The RAMCHECK base tester has been modified so that it can be used ONLY to test the DDR modules.
Each module's size, structure, and type are automatically detected, without the need for user's setup. Test flow of the DDR modules follows our standard Basic Test, Extensive Test, and Auto-Loop process. RAMCHECK DDR ONLY is very simple to operate, with almost no training or setup required.
The RAMCHECK DDR ONLY works with the new DDR 184-pin memory adapter and will support any planned member of our DDR Series, like the new 200-pin S.O. DIMM DDR adapter and the 66-pin TSOP DDR Chip Tester. It cannot support the RAMCHECK adapters for older SDRAM or EDO/FPM technologies, although a factory upgrade to the RAMCHECK PLUS level is available for those requiring SDRAM or EDO/FPM support at a later date.
* DDR400 modules can be tested and identified as PC3200/DDR400 on this adapter, although the tests are run at lower frequencies.
