The Hakko FR-860 Preheat Plate provides fast, event preheat for PCB assemblies that have been bonded or are otherwise attached to solid metal surfaces such as heavy metal heat sinks, shielding, or microwave filter chassis, making them difficult to rework. The industrial microprocessor temperature control uses closed-loop feedback from either the plate or from a remote thermocouple. The split plate/controller design allows for minimal use of bench space and the low profile allows for use under microscopes.
