Description
|
With lead-free solder use on the rise and oxidation becoming an ever increasing problem due to higher temperatures, the Hakko FM-2026 Nitrogen Handpiece is an ideal solution that works with your existing Hakko FM-202, Hakko FP-102, and Hakko FP-101 Soldering Stations.
The handpiece uses tips with enclosures to funnel the nitrogen around the exposed surface of the tip and the solder joint being created or reflowed, helping to reduce the buildup of oxidation.
The Hakko FM-2026 soldering iron is designed to supply hot nitrogen (N2) to the soldering area. The soldering efficiency can be improved as the nitrogen reduces the amount of oxygen in the solder connection area. With less oxygen there will be less oxidation. The hot gas will also have a preheating affect on the connection area.
The FM2026-01 is also available in the FM2026-KIT where it is bundled with the FX-791 Nitrogen Controller. The FM2026-KIT combined with the FX780-01 Nitrogen Generator forms a complete N2 Soldering System.
