The Global Specialties Model 1550 AC Power Source/Frequency Converter provides excellent value and some impressive
features. Without complicating the unit with little used features, the 1550 has just what is needed on the test bench. Output voltages are variable up to 30 volts above
and below the nominal line voltages and 3 range switches quickly help switch frequency. A separate output for 115 and 230VAC elim-inates chances of wrong voltage
being accidentally applied to sensitive and expensive equipment under test. Several protections built into the unit trip the inverter in case of overload or overheat and
indicate the condition via a front panel alarm.
The Global Specialties Model 1550 is ideal for applications involving the testing and qualification of elec-tronic equipment destined for european and aviation markets
where either 50Hz or 400Hz would be the AC line operating frequency. With the 60Hz frequency, the GLOBAL Specialties Model 1550 can be used as a universal AC
Power Source/Frequency Converter, for both domestic and international product testing and certification.
