With the Fluke 180 Series (except the Fluke 187), 89 Series-IV, and 53/54 Series-II meters, you don't have to have the meter and computer running together to take your measurements. These meters can measure and store hundreds of logged and saved reading measurements as stand-alone units, and then later download the information to FlukeView Forms when you connect to your computer.
FlukeView Forms communicates with supported meters via an infrared (Ir) serial interace, that makes data transfer fast and easy. FlukeView Forms is meter aware so there aren't any configuration problems. Using the supplied IR serial cable, the software will automatically recognize your meter and transfer the data.

FlukeView Forms 1.6 Feature Review
FlukeView Forms 1.6 offers a selection of graphic representations of logged data. A new table has been added to summarize total readings, input events, intervals, and input scaling details for measurements. FlukeView Forms 1.6 software and documentation is localized to English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Simplified Chinese.

In this example, the millivolt output of a current probe has been scaled automatically to display the measured Amps in graphs and logged reading tables.
