Compact and rugged, power quality logging is easy with the Fluke 1745 Logger.

The Fluke 1745 Power Quality Logger Memobox is a sophisticated, easy-to-use, electrical power-recording device for the electrician or power-quality specialist.

Capable of simultaneously logging up to 500 power parameters for up to 85 days and monitoring for events, these power loggers help uncover intermittent and hard-to-find power quality issues. The included PQ Log software quickly assesses the quality of power at the service entrance, substation, or at the load, according to the latest EN50160 standard.

       Logger Capabilities:

The Logger contains an automatically charged 5-hour UPS (uninterruptable power supply) ride-through, and an LCD status display to provide confidence in setup before you leave the Logger in place to collect data. You can power the logger in parallel with the test leads or through an outlet. Adapter cords for both methods of power in the Logger are included as standard equipment. The Logger works in conjunction with the included PQ Log software.

You can then connect the Logger to an electrical power-distribution network to log a variety of power parameters, recorded as sequential averaged values over an averaging period you can define. The Fluke 1745 Logger can measure up to three voltages and four currents simultaneously.

Applications:
  • Disturbance analysis – Uncover root cause of equipment malfunction for later mitigation and predictive maintenance.

  • Quality of service compliance – Validate incoming power quality at the service entrance.

  • Calculates current harmonics - Calculate the limits of current harmonics to predict overload of the grid according to the standards VSE, VEOE, VDN, among others.

  • Load studies – Verify electrical system capacity before adding loads.

  • Energy and power quality assessment – Validate performance of facility improvements by quantifying energy consumption, power factor, and general power quality before and after improvements.

  • Power quality studies – Assess baseline power quality to validate compatibility with critical systems before installation.

  • Fluke PQ Log software - View graphs and generate reports.
